I very rarely do reviews but with this quality of food I have to.Huge compliments to all the staff at this restaurant. Everything on the plate was still so hot, as if you were eating straight from the pan.The doneness of the fillet was just perfect and the nut salad with the hot bacon and egg left nothing to be desired.I can highly recommend it.Thank you for the great food

Very positively surprised! We discovered the restaurant through 2:1 Aarau.Beef fillet and knöpfli were perfect, and the service staff was extremely friendly.The most important thing: you feel welcome and valued! The ambience is perfect, an upscale village pub with a fair price-performance ratio, both for the food and the wines!

The tender beef fillet in a fine pepper sauce was very good and could only be topped by the best potato and leek soup I have ever tasted!The service employee had a full "shop" and still managed to serve us in a friendly and courteous manner, with a smile - chapeau!We would love to come back...

We read through the 2fur1 book for beef fillet with fries and spaetzle. Our waitress was friendly from Slovakia, with good knowledge of German, it is advisable to reserve a table in advance.
